The Italian champions came back to Trento today afternoon. The Yellow-blues completed the second away match in Maaseik, Belgium, in the time of three weeks and, as happened in the first one, this trip delivered to Trentino Volley a potentially very important success to continue the journey in 2016 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League. Landed in Bergamo around 2.00 pm with a flight from Eindhoven, Colaci and teammates have then returned by coach to PalaTrento, making a date for Friday morning in the weight room.
For Diatec Trentino only just over 50 hours in the city before holding again the bags and start another journey to Latina, where on Sunday evening will be engaged on the field of Ninfa for the nineteenth round of Super League regular season UnipolSai 2015/16. "The away victory of Wednesday night against Lennik is one of those results that are worth far more than the two points won over the two legs” - explained the setter Simone Giannelli, a great new star of the good performance of tricolors. -”We knew it wouldn’t have been easy to center the success and even more could have been difficult without being able to count on Lanza and Djuric. In fact we suffered, but finally we managed to dull, collecting additional confidence in ourselves; it's nice that this team will be able to express itself on a good level and always fight till the end, independently of how it proposes from time to time. This is the demonstration that the squad is valid in its entirety and not just for its seven or eight players”.
“Without Pippo and Mitar inevitably I had to change the way to play and handle certain situations, because Nelli and Antonov are two players with different features who must be implicated with different balloons, but I'm glad that in the end the percentages of attack have remained good like in the recent past” - said the South Tyroler director. -”Despite the absences this period has been positive because it allowed me to further improve the understanding with Urnaut and Van de Voorde, who inevitably got more balls to attack, but both have given me even more safeties often putting them on the ground. I'm happy because after the final of the Italian Cup, we quickly shown to be able to turn the page and react. We are living a good time and to play games like the one against Modena last Thursday and the one on Wednesday against Lennik, gave me great satisfaction and fun even on a personal level. However now we don’t have to lower completely the attention: the race on Sunday in Latina is one of the most insidious of this second part of the second round. We'll have to get there with the right head to try to get another good result, but it will not be easy."
The departure for Lazio is scheduled on Saturday morning, immediately after a workout of about an hour and a half in PalaTrento that will offer additional guidance on the physical condition of Lanza and Djuric.
